My Days Here

Weather report: It is spring and there is still lots of snow and it is freezing cold. I play in the snow more than 3 times a day. I climb snow piles, watch people ride and fall off bikes and pull the "sledge". During school recess we can play in the snow and on the ice everyday.

As the days get longer and the sun shines all day the snow has started to melt. We can not skate or walk on the lake anymore because it is ice water.

I call this mud season. There is dirty snow, mud and ice. It is dangerous. You will slip and fall. The city throws rocks on the ices so we can walk easier. My sister's wear rain gear and boots so they can splash in the mud at daycare. They come home dirty and wet everyday. So do I.

These are the creepy woods near my apartment. I can wait to see when the grass and leaves return.

My mom took my sister's and I to Hop Lop. It is a fun place. It is huge. We stayed all day to celebrate Zee's birthday. She is now 2 years old. I can't wait to go back. I won most games. I played floor ball, climbed a wall, had a ball pit fight and other things. I helped my sister's play games too.

 Happy birthday Zee!

                               Marlee and Zurie's Day Care

We use the ski's for gym at school. You can borrow ski's and skates on Saturday and Sunday to play.

They take us to the soccer field to teach us some new skills. I like leaving school to play soccer.

This is my school friend Shaafiya. She came to my apartment to look around. She is always happy and helpful. She is from Pakistan.

We went to see Frozen on Ice at the hockey Arena.

Back in Helsinki for a bit. We are showing my Aunt around Finland. We went to visit the Silent Church in Kamppi. No talking! Helsinki is a cool city like back home. Lots of people and trains.

We took the Megastar cruise to Tallinn; the capital of Estonia. We went to the old part of Tallinn with cobblestones, horses and older buildings. We also stopped in the Children's Museum. On the boat there was a big play area for my sister's and I. Tallinn is 2 hours from Helsinki. The boat had a supermarket and lots of places to eat.
